Permastop® Building Blanket

Permastop is a high quality insulation blanket that features excellent thermal and acoustic performance. Made of glasswool and faced on one side with sisalation reflective foil laminate that is non-permeable to moisture. It has a 150mm foil lap on one side to allow the moisture barrier to be sealed. Permastop is able to be supplied with a wide range of Sisalation facings. Permastop blankets provide condensation control under metal deck roofs, behind wall cladding, and under concrete roof structures to reduce heat loads entering a building. Permastop also provides and excellent solution for acoustic treatments of metal clad buildings by reducing internal reverberation and unwanted noise created by rain, hail and the expansion and contraction of metal roofing and cladding.  It is manufactured by Fletcher Insulation and comes in the following R-Ratings and thicknesses:

Pink®

A high performance thermal and acoustic glasswool board, specifically designed for installation underneath a flat concrete roof. Available in plain foil face or white decorative finish.

Kingspan Kooltherm®

K10 Soffit Board

Kingspan K10 Soffit board is a super high performing, fibre-free rigid thermoset modified resin insulation core, sandwiched between an upper tissue-based facing and lower facing of highly reflective aluminium foil adhesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture.  It is manufactured without the use of CFCs/HCFCs and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).

DOW Tuff-R™

Polyisocyanurate PIR Rigid Thermal Insulation

Featuring the highest thermal insulation value of any foam sheathing current-ly available, Dow Tuff-R™ distributed by DCTech is a closed cell polyisocy-anurate (PIR) foam core sandwiched between two durable, aluminium foil exterior facers. The first is a continuous sheet of aluminium foil, the other is aluminium foil-Kraft paper-aluminium foil. Air cannot penetrate the facers, which also minimises water and water vapour intrusion into the polyisocy-anurate foam insulation core, and allows the foam R-value to stabilise at a higher value. Dow Tuff-R™ thermal insulation can be easily applied to a variety of substrates.

Pipe Acoustic Lagging

Photos: In a Double Bay shopping centre we use the 100mm Medium Duty Permastop. 130mm Medium Duty Permastop used in a large commercial project in Macquarie Park.

Photos: We used the FI32 semi-rigid thermal slab with silver foil face on a commercial underslab at a project in Engadine. Also shown is the custom made white faced semi-rigid on the underslab of a shopping centre in Double Bay.

Photos: Macquarie Park, we have used Kingspans 70mm K10 to the underslab of a loading dock. Sydney Landmark Building in Ultimo we have used Kingspans 25mm, 40mm and 60mm K10 on various levels.
